We are thrilled to announce that Bitfount has joined forces with the Milner Therapeutics Institute at the University of Cambridge as an Affiliate Company. This partnership opens up a world of opportunities for our organisations to collaborate and drive innovation in HealthTech.
The Milner Therapeutics Institute at the University of Cambridge encompasses both a research institute and a global outreach programme, which aims to transform pioneering science into therapies. The Milner’s affiliated company scheme was established in October 2017 and now includes 62 organisations, bringing diverse expertise and resources to the Milner network. The institute promotes interactions between affiliated companies and academic, pharmaceutical or biotechnology partners, to build a cohesive community with an aligned vision. Their annual symposium is a key event - supported by the affiliated companies - for catalysing new opportunities for collaboration.
As a Milner Institute affiliate, Bitfount gains access to a network of clinicians, researchers, and drug discovery scientists at the University and hospitals on the biomedical campus.
We believe data federation can solve some of the biggest challenges in healthcare and the Life Sciences by enabling secure data collaborations without any data sharing. Bitfount’s federated data science platform can be used to train, deploy and validate AI models as well as to perform federated analytics, for applications including clinical trial acceleration, biomarker development, algorithm commercialisation, real-world evidence, basic research and more.
Bitfount will be part of the Milner Therapeutics Symposium on 2nd July to discuss how federated data science and analytics are unlocking new possibilities in academic and pre-clinical research and how they can be applied in Pharma, Biotech and the Life Sciences more broadly to accelerate the discovery of new treatments.
